  The Evening Sentinel, January 6, 1955
    Martin Miller Fehl, 85, retired awning maker, RD2, Shippensburg, died 
  yesterday in his home.
    He had operated his awning shop in Walnut Bottom for 63 years, retiring in 
  1952.  Mr. Fehl was a son of the late Isaac Warren and Mattie McBeth Fehl.  He 
  was a member of the Walnut Bottom Evangelical United Brethren Church.
    Mr. Fehl is survived by his wife Mrs. Florence Fehl; a daughter, Mrs. Lester 
  Gogelsonger, and two sons, David B. and John W. Fehl, all of Walnut Bottom; 
  nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
    Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the funeral 
  home at 142 East King Street, Shippensburg.  Rev. Archie F. Ridall, pastor of 
  Leesburg, EUB Church, and Rev. John Frehn, pastor of Trinity Methodist Church, 
  Harrisburg, will officiate.  Burial will be in Walnut Bottom Cemetery.  
  Friends may call Saturday evening at the funeral home.
