  The Evening Sentinel, Carlisle, PA
    Mrs. Margaret James Smiley, formerly of Newville, died on Monday at her home 
  in Glasco, Va.  She was 51 years old.
    She was born on Mar. 2, 1903, in Newville, the daughter of the late Edwin W. 
  and Annie Killian James. She was a member of Glasco Presbyterian Church.
    She is survived by her husband, Harry J. Smiley; four daughters, Miss Mary 
  E. Smiley, Richmond, Va.; Dorothy Jean, Helen Jane and Margaret Irene, all at 
  home, and a brother, J. Edwin James, Langhorne, Pa.
    Funeral services will be held tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock in Glasco.  
  Graveside services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock in Prospect 
  Hill Cemetery with Rev. Walter Guss officiating.
