Starner, 51, manager of the M. E. Knouse Edgewood Fruit Farm near Bendersville, died unexpectedly yesterday morning after being stricken while trimming trees in an orchard near Bendersville. Mr. Starner, a native of Adams County, was a son of the late Peter and Ollie Means Starner. He was a member of the Aspers Pentecostal Church. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Laura Kuhn Starner; three daughters, Mrs. Clyde Cooley, RD1, Aspers, and Martha and Ruth, at home; a son, Paul Jr., at home; three sisters, Mrs. Arthur Towne, Rochester, N. Y.; Mrs. Robert Barbour, RD2, Gardners, and Mrs. Harry McCullen, Marietta; three brothers, Pricey Starner, RD2, Gardners; George Starner, Camp Hill, and Bruce Starner, Washington, D. C., and three grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the funeral home in Bendersville Cemetery.
