I William Brown of Carlisle, Cumberland County, and State of Pennsylvania being weake in boady but of a sound disposing memory & mind do make and ordain this to be my last Will and Testament in manor following (that is to say) First, I will my soul to Almighty God who gave it and my body to dust to be intered at the discreation of my Executors hereafter named. Also the worldly estate wherewith it has pleased God to bless me with I will and bequiath it in manner following, first it is my will that all my just debts and funeral expences be fully paid. Item: I will & bequeath all my estate real and personal to Robert Parkison and John Buyers of Carlisle to be equally divided after all my debts and funeral expences are paid out of which the are pay the following leagesy. Item: I will and bequeath to my daughter Emely one Dollar & to my wife Nancy sixty-seven cents - and further I do by these presants constitute and apoint Robert Parkison and John Buyers of Carlisle to be the Executors of this my last Will and Testament hereby giving and granting them full power & athoureaty to execute this my Last will and Testament & I do hereby revoake disclaim and make null & void all former wills by me maid and declare this my only to be my last will and Testament In Witness whereof I have to these presants set my hand and Seal this twenty fourth day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ten ­ Signed Sealed & Delivered published & pronounced by the Testator to be his last Will and Testament at who request we signed it as witnesses Thos. AD. 1810 the last Will & Testament of William Brown late of the Borough of Carlisle deceased was legally proven [inserted above line] of which the foregoing recording is a true copy [end insertion] and letters Testamentary with a copy of the will annexed issued in common form to Robert Parkison & John Byers the Executors therein named. Inventory & account to be exhibited into the Registers Office in the time appointed by law.
