I, Lehnard Of Minich of the County of Cumberland Leonard Minich, deceased and State of Pennsylvania being in bad health of Body but of Sound mind, memory and understanding, but considering the uncertainty of this transitory life do make and Publish this my last Will and testament in manner and form as follows to wit. First, it is my Will and I do order that all my just debts and funeral expenses be duly Paid and Satisfied as soon as convenient be after my Passing & after a fair valuation and appraisement is made according to law. First I will and bequeath to my beloved Wife Christina as much house hold furniture as she shall see fit to take with first third in the Real Estate of all the land in Cumberland County except two Small Interests hereafter mentioned. I give to my son Peter Minich the advancement of fifty-three Dollars as Part of his Shaire and to my Son John Minich I give and bequeath to him ten Acres of land where he now lives for and during his life and then to descend to his heirs at Six hundred Dollars Part of his Shaire and I give to my daughter Sally her Shire in full and to my daughter Catharine now intermarried with Jacob Hawk her advancement is four hundred Dollars Part of her share. And I give to my daughter Polly now intermarried with Benjamin Jumper her advancement is two hundred Dollars Part of her Shaire And I give to my daughter Elizabeth her Shire in full And I give to my Son Micheal Minich his advancement as Part of his Shaire is three hundred and twenty Dollars and fifty-nine cents. And I give to my Son Samuel Minich his advancement is two hundred Dollars in Part of his Shaire And I give to my daughter Jane now intermarried with Abraham Mordorf her advancement of fifty-three Dollars Part of her Shire. And I give to my daughter Margret widow her Shaire in full. And I give to the Heirs of my son Lehnard Minich Decd. his advancement is two hundred Dollars Part of his Shaire. And I give to my daughter Nancy now intermarried with Samuel Thumma fifteen Acres of land with the buildings and the advancement is Six hundred & thirty-three Dollars Part of her Shaire. And I give to my daughter Susanna now intermarried with Andrew Kenaday her advancements are one hundred Dollars Part of her Shaire. And I give to my daughter Barbra now intermarried with Jacob Hess her Shair in full And I give to my Son Barned Minich his Shaire in full And further I direct that all my Personal Property be Sold as Appraised soon after my deth And the Real Estate within two years. The Tract of Land in the four Set County to be Sold within one year after my deth. And further I direct that all my Beloved Children as mentioned Shall Shaire and Shaire alike And lastly I appoint my Son in law Andrew Kenaday as the Executor of this my Will. Witness whereof I have Set my hand and Seal this Twenty-ninth day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand and Eight hundred and Sixty-one. North Register for the Probate of Wills and granting Letters of Administration and for said County personally Came H.F. Swiger Esq. One of the subscribing witnesses to the forgoing instrument of writing purporting to be the last will & Testament of Leonard Minich, late of Frankford township, deceased, who being duly sworn according to law doth depose and say that he was present and saw and heard the testator Leonard Minich Sign Seal publish pronounce and declare the same as and for his last Will and Testament and that at the time of his so doing he was of a sound and disposing mind memory and understanding to the best of his observation knowledge & belief and that he subscribed his name as so witness there.
