It was written on 23 June 1794 and proved 27 October 1802. Last Will & Testament of William Parkison In the Meaime of Goad Ameain this twinte third day of June in the Year of our Loard one thousand seven hundred and ninety four. I Wilam Parkison of Middletown Township Cumberland County Steate of Pensylveany being Wake of bodey and drawing ner my Last end but of perfit mind and mimery thanks to God thearefore Calling into mind the mortallity of my Boady and that it is apointed unto all men once to die, Dous meack and ordeaine this to be my Last Will & Teastiment prinsibily and first of all, I give and Recommend my Soul unto God that give it, and for my boady I recommend to Earth, to be buried in a Christian like and deasent maner at the discreashon of my Executors nothing doutig but that at the General Reseacton I shal Reseive the Same again, by the might power of God. Touching such Worldly Esteate as it heath pleased God to blis me with in this life I geave and Devies of the same in the foaleing maner and foarme Item, It is my Will and I ordeain that all just and lawful debt and funeiarial charges be paid and fully setled, and first of all, I geave unto my son Ritchard the land that I know live on to hime and his heairs and assigns forever, except one hundred and sixty pounds that hee is to pay out of it, to my Executors to given to the outher legeatees and my thirds whilsts I live him also the cupboard I geave unto Ritchard, and I give nixt unto my son John Parkison Eighteen pounds ten shillings and nixt I give unto my son William twenty eight pounds five shillings and my saddle and Bridel, and nixt I give unto my Son David Twenty eight pounds five shillings and one quilt and one peair of blancetes, and nixt I give unto my Son Benjaman Twenty Pounds, and nixt I give unto my son Joseph twenty pounds, and nixt I geave unto my Son Thomas twenty pounds, and nixt I give unto my daughter Elizabeth teen pounds, and nixt I give unto my Grand daughters Margaret & Rachal children of my daughter Catren five pounds a piece for their part That is for my daughter Catrens part, and nixt I give unto my Daughter Margret teen pounds, and nixt I give unto my Grand daughter Margret daughter of Thomas Parkison my Fathers Beed a niw quilt &Blankites and pilleas and Sheet, and nixt I give unto my Grand daughter of James Parkison one of my Cous or the price of one, & nixt I give unto my Grand Daughter Margrets Daughter her Grandmothers Sidsaddle and if any remainds let it be divided amoungs the boys. I do appoint and ordain Nathaniel Wilson and Thomas Parkison my Soul executors of this my last Will and Testament, and I do hereby disolve and disinull every outhr formar testament will Leaugesus or bequithment by mee mead and I Confirm this to be my Last Will and teastement in Witness whereof I have ________ set my hand and sail the day and year above written. Robert Anderson David Sample Be it remembered that on the 27th day of October AD 1802 the last Will and Testament of William Parkison decs.d (late of Middleton township) of which the foregoing is a true Copy was legally proved and letters Testamentary with a Copy of the Will, anexed issued the same day in Common form, to Nathaniel Wilson and Thomas Parkison therein mentioned, Inventory and account to be exhibited in the Registers Office in the Borough of Carlisle in the time appointed by Law.
