In the name of God Amen, I, John Sharp, of Frankford township, Cumberland County and State of Pennsylvania, being now advanced in years but of sound disposing mind and memory, do make and ordain this my last Will & Testament. In the first place I do allow my body to be buried on my own place In a corner of the field north west of the orchard and east of the road leading from me to Matthew Wilson's, and at the discretion of my aftermentioned Executors, and that all my lawful debts, and funeral expenses be fully paid. 2nd As my son James (now deceased) has been before provided for, I only allow his heirs the further sum of one hundred cents. 3rd My daughters Margaret and Martha to be charged with the sundry articles advanced to them agreeably to their account - signed 4th My daughter Mary to have her two cows and the things in the house commonly called hers such as Bed Bedding […] horse and cows equal with my daughters also the further choice of any of my cows and my silver watch. 5th My books I do allow to be equally divided among my three daughters. 6th All the remainder of my property both real and personal, I do give and bequeath to my three daughters Mary, Margaret and Martha, to be equally […] and divided among them, share and share alike, Martha's share to be paid solely to her or her heirs or their order 7th I do hereby empower my hereinafter named Executors or in case of death or resignation either of them of their Executors or administrators at any time when two of my daughters shall agree to the same for to sell and convey my real property in as full and ample a manner as I myself might or could have done, and 8th I do hereby ordain constitute and appoint my neighbours John Brown, Junr, and Thomas Wallace (son of Patrick Wallace Esq) Executors of this my last Will & Testament. In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this fourteenth day of February, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty four.
