Whereas in the last will and testament of the said David Detwelyer dec'd, it is ordered and directed that his Real estate is to be divided among his three sons, subject totheir paying out of the same to the several heirs in the said will mentioned. And Whereas certain agreements having been made amongst the sons, to whom the Real esates is bequeathed and a certain part (to wit) A tract of said land adjoining to the River Susquehannah containing thirty three acres & __ perches, was taken by John Detweyler, one of the heirs to the said will mentioned. And Now Know Ye that I the said Jacob Detweyler in consideration of our decision and of the estate of my said father David Detweyler and of the part of the estate which I hold as well as for the sum of one dollar Lawful money of the United States to me in hand paid by ths said John Detweyler the ___ whereof is hereby acknowledged, have remissed, released and forever quit claim and by these presents do remise relieave and forever quit clai unto the said John Detweyler all my claim against the estate Real and personal of my father David Detweyler, Dec'd. and to his heirs and assigns to the only proper use and behoof of him the said John Detwelyer and to his heirs and assigns forever all the estate right title interest claim and demand whatsoever of any to ___ or of any part of the said part of the Real estate taken as aforesaid by the said John Detweyler with the appurtenances threto belonging to have and to hold the same to him the said John Detweyler and to his heirs and assigns forever so that neither the above named Jacob Detweyler nor his heirs nor any other person or persons for him or in his name or right shall or may by any way or means whatsoever at any time hereafter claim ___ or demand any estate right title or interest of or and to the said tract of the Real Estate so taken As Aforesaid nor to the _____ or any part thereof he the said Jacob shall be forever barred by these pesents and he said Jacob Detweyler and Barbara his wife the said Real Estate and premises with the appurtenances to the said John Detweyler and to his heirs and assigns against? him the said Jacob Detweyler and Barbara his wife and his heirs shall and will Warrant and forever efend In Witness whereof the said Jacob Detweyler hath hereunto set his hand and seal this ____ day of Mayin the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty five Sealed and delivered in the presence of Jacob Detweiler (seal) NB before signing the name of Barbara his Barbara Detweiler (seal) wife was underlined. Adnowledged the foregoing Release their act and deed and desired that the same may be Recorded as such> According to Law In Testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal the twenty third day of May AD 1825 NB The said Barbara being by me examined apart E. Heller from her husband freely consented to the Signing and acknowledgment Recorded May 23'd, A.D. 1825
