All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/dauphin/ _______________________________________________ 1815 13 Nov 1815 Dauphin County Deed Book V Vol 1 Page 20 John Shutz to John Gingrich Know all men by these presents that I John Shutz of Londonderry township in the County of Dauphin and State of Pennsylvania brickmaker for and in consideration of the sum of ninty three Dollars and ninety five cents to me in hand paid by John Gingrich of the same place Farmer at and before the ensealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have bargained sold and delivered and by these presents do bargain sell and deliver unto the said John Gingrich two Bay Mares and one Sorrel horse To Have and To Hold the said three horse creatures unto the said John Gingrich his executors administrators and assignes to his and their only proper use benefit and behoof forever and I the said John Shutz my heirs Executiors and administrators, the said bargained premises unto the said John Gingrich his heirs Executors administrators and assigns from and against all person and persons whomsoever shall and will warrant and forever defend by these presents In Witness whereof I the said John Shutz to these presents have hereunto sett my hand and Seal the thirteenth day of November Anno Domini One thousand eight hundred & fifteen John (hix - mark) Shutz seal Sealed and delivered in the presence of us James Wilson Dauphin County Seal Before me the subscriber one of the Justices of the Peace in and for said county personaly came the above named John Shutz and acknowledged the above written bill of Sale to be his act and deed and desired the Same may be Recorded as such In Testimony whereof I have hereunto Sett my hand and Seal the day and Year above Written.
