All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/dauphin/ _______________________________________________ Deed Poll Sheriff's Book 1, Page 237 Dauphin County Courthouse, Harrisburg, PA 26 June 1820 Abraham B___ & Henry Spalsbach Execs of Jacob Smith dec'd. & Abraham Smith, David Smith & Daniel Smith Deed Poll to John Gingerick This 26th day of June AD 1820 Peter Wenrich Esq High Sheriff of Dauphin County acknowledged in Open Court a Deed Poll under his hand and seal bearing date the day & year aforesaid for conveying unto John Gingerich for the consideration of Nineteen hundred and eleven dollars and sixty cents A Tract of Land situate in Hanover Township, Dauphin County bounded by lands of Henry McCormick, Hetty F. Salzbach, and others containing Two hundred and sixteen acres be the same more or less with the appurtenances to have and to hold the said Tract of land with the appurtenances to the said John Gingerick his heirs and assigns forever subject nevertheless to the payment of One thousand pounds at the death of Margaret Smith widow & relict of Jacob Smith dec'd. and subject also to the payment of the interests annually on the said One thousand pounds during the life of the said widow viz $160 annually the said interest to commence April 2nd 1820 and the first payment of interest to be made April 2nd 1821 & which property late the estate of Abraham, David & Daniel Smith was sold by the said Sheriff by virtue of a writ of Vendition Exponas issued out of the Court of Common Pleas of Dauphin County bearing Teste the 25th day of March AD 1820.
