All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/dauphin/ _______________________________________________ Deed Poll Sheriff's Book 1, Page 144 Dauphin County Courthouse, Harrisburg, PA 5 May 1813 David Stevenson & John Moore Deed Poll to John Gingrich This fifth day of May A.D. 1813 John Helker Esquire High Sheriff of the County of Dauphin acknowledges in Open Court a Deed Poll under his hand and seal bearing even date herewith for conveying unto John Gingrich a certain Messuage or Tenement and two lots of Ground Situate in the Town of Annville in the said County of Dauphin adjoining lots of Casper Paulus Stephen Rigler and the Market Street with their appurtenances as late the property of the said John Moore for the Consideration of the sum of five hundred and fifty five Dollars (he being the highest bidder and that the best price bidden for the same) lawful money of the United States To Have and to hold the said messuage or Tenement and two Inn lots of Grounds with the appurtenances unto the said John Gingrich his heirs and Assigns forever and sold by the said Sheriff on the eighth day of March A.D. One thousand eight hundred and thirteen by virtue of a writ of Vendition Exponas issued out of our County Court of Common Pleas of Dauphin County at the suit of the said David Stevenson bearing Test the first day of February AD 1813.
