Muster Roll
James Brown, Co. I, 18th Regt., 7th Cavalry, enrolled Aug. 24, 1861 at 
Harrisburg, Pa. and mustered in Sept. 3, 1861 as Corporal at Harrisburg, Pa.  He 
was aged 22, born in Rochester, New York and residing in New York.  Promoted to 
Sergeant, date unknown.  Deserted from Camp Parole, Columbus, Ohio.

Additional Comments:
the unit was recruited in Dauphin and Lycoming Cos.
