Beason was hauling train No. 19 with engine No. 3345, a bolt was lost out of one of the levers and it became loose and flew back, striking the engineer on the head, rendering him unconscious. Fireman R. B. Pee quickly stopped the train and Dr. Peterson of Spruce Creek was summoned to give first aid, while Dr. Musser of Tyrone was taken to Spruce Creek on an empty engine. The physicians advised Beasor's removal to the Altoona hospital and he was brought here on No. 19, which was delayed an hour and thirty-six minutes by the accident. At the hospital it is thought that his injury is not serious and he may be able to leave the institution tomorrow. Engineer Beasor is aged 55, married and resides at 526 Woodbine street, Harrisburg.
