BECOMES ILL ON ENGINE.	

Special to the Tribune.
  Denhelm, Pa., Aug. 12. - Uriah Poffenberger, sixty-seven years old, one of 
the oldest freight conductors in point of service running over Middle 
Division was found sitting in the monkey box of his caboose about midnight in 
a semi-conscious condition from an attack of vertigo superinduced by 
indigestion.  The shifter crew took him to Mifflin where he received first 
aid treatment and was sent to his home in Harrisburg on train No. 4.
