He had been ill for the last five years, but had only been confined to his bed for the past two weeks. He was born in Middletown, where he lived and was employed at the shoe factory. Campbell was a member of the local Sons of Veterans. He is survived by his parents, three brothers, William and James Campbell, of town, and Harry, of Harrisburg; one sister, Mrs. George Baker, of Highspire.
