FRAIN Yesterday afternoon George Frain, of 1306 Seventeenth avenue, received a telegram from Harrisburg stating that his brother, Samuel T. Frain, had died at his home, 712 North Third street, at that place, yesterday. Deceased was born in Union county and was aged 56 years. He was a veteran of the civil war, having served in companies A and D, Forty-ninth Pennsylvania volunteers. He was badly wounded at Spottsylvania and suffered considerable from his injuries until his death. After the war he was employed by the Pennsylvania Railroad company and later had been engaged in the hotel and other business at Harrisburg. He is survived by his wife and one son, Lewis, of Pottsville; also by five other brothers. The funeral will take place Thursday; services in the Methodist Episcopal church, of which he was a member.
