The Cambria freeman. (Ebensburg, Pa.) 1867-1938: April 07, 1870
W. W. Hays, Mayor of Harrisburg. died on last Thursday. His disease was consumption.
Mr. Hays was quite a young man. He spent a portion of the summer of 1867 and also of
1868 in our town. He was a gentleman in the fullest acceptation of the term and
produced a most favorable impression upon all who had the pleasure of forming his
acquaintance.
