Deceased, who is survived by a wife and three children, William, senior member of the firm of Knox & Meckley [Meekley?] grocers; Emma and Bessie, was born in Port Royal, Juniata county, sixty-five years ago. He has lived in this city for quite a number of years, and at the time of his death was a consistent member of Pine Street Presbyterian church and the Odd Fellows.
