JOSEPH J. LAVIA

  Joseph J. Lavia, aged 35 years, died yesterday at his home, 1531 
North Third street.  The funeral services will be held tomorrow morning 
in the St. Patrick's Cathedral, with the Rev. Father Sama officiating.  
Burial will be made in the Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
  Lavia was a well known shoe repairer in this city and was a member of 
the Sons of Italy Lodge of Harrisburg and also of the Harrisburg 
Council, No. 869, Knights of Columbus.  He is survived by his wife, 
Beulah, and infant son, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank J. Lavia, two 
brothers and one sister.
