McCORD DIES Kendig Raymond McCord, aged 64 years, died at his home on North Union street Saturday from a complication of diseases. He had been ill several years. Mr. McCord had operated a liquor store which was opened by his father in the Peters property on Union street, until the time of his death. He was a charter member of Middletown Lodge, No. 1092, Benevolent Protective Order of Elks, and a member of the St. Peter's Lutheran Church, of North Union street. He was also a charter member of the Liberty Hose Company and a contributing member of the Rescue Hose Company. He is survived by three sons, Joseph, Kendig, Jr., and Donald, at home; one daughter, Mrs. Joseph Force, at home, one brother, Stuart McCord, of town; two sisters, Miss Edwardine McCord, of North Union street, and Mrs. Carrie Black, of Lancaster. The funeral services will be held tomorrow morning at 10 o'clock at the residence. The Rev. Fuller Bergstresser, pastor of the Lutheran Church, will officiate.
