Rhoads, well known brick contractor, became suddenly ill and died within a short time. Mr. Rhoads who resided at 323 Green street, has been engaged as a bricklayer and in the brick contracting business here for a period of more than fifty years. His son William S. Rhoads, is now interested in the same line. Among some of Daniel Rhoads most important contracting jobs were those of the State Asylum and the Harrisburg Telegraph Building. He was a member of the Royal Arcanum and of the Messiah Lutheran Church. Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, at the home, the Rev. William Rasmussen officiating. Burial will be made in the Paxtang Cemetery. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Mary Rhoads; one son son, William S. Rhoads; two daughters, Mrs. F. F. Hess and Mrs. E. E.
