Showers, of this city, who was killed May 29 by a Hun bomb dropped from an aeroplane upon an ambulance in France on which Showers was serving as a member of the Twelfth Ammunition Company, will be held Sunday morning at 10.45 o'clock in the Fourth Reformed Church, Market and Sixteenth streets. The announcement was made this morning by the pastor, the Rev. Homer S. May. Showers was buried on Memorial Day, May 30, near the scene of his death. He was an active member of the Fourth Memorial congregation, and the service will include a tribute from the pastor who received a number of interesting letters from Showers, written in France. Quotations from these letters will be read. The church will be decorated with flags and flowers and there will be an appropriate program of music by the choir.
