They had killed several deer, and wounded another. They took their game to Bell's Mills for shipment, and it being some time until the train would arrive they went after the wounded deer. One of the party being in advance, one of those behind shot at some pheasants, and a spent ball struck the young man who was seventy-five yards in advance of the rest. It proved fatal. His name was Edson Sible, and was killed by his uncle, Philip Lehr ---- and they had killed six deer.
