Mrs. Ulrich had waited until an eastbound freight train had passed and as the last car on the freight went by she stepped onto the tracks and was struck by the train carrying milk. She was picked up and carried to her home, which is directly opposite that of Dr. M. L. Hershey, and the physician was called in. Mrs. Ulrich had received a fracture at the base of the skull and died at 8 o'clock, never regaining consciousness. She was about 50 years old and was a sister of John and Eugene Hershey, of Annville. She is survived by her brothers and one son, thirteen years old. The Evening News, Harrisburg, Penna., Monday, August 26, 1918
