Funeral will be Saturday, June 16, 2 p.m., at St. Matthew A.M.E. Church, Cross, S.C. Rev. Michael Burgess will officiate. Burial in Jerusalem Cemetery, Cross, S.C. EUTAWVILLE COMMUNITY FUNERAL HOME is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Yeadon, the son of the late Mr. George Yeadon, Sr., and Mary Glover Yeadon, was born on October 20, 1935, in Cross, S.C. He received his education in Berkeley County Schools. He was a member of St. Matthew AME Church until he relocated to Rockaway Beach, N.Y., where he joined St. John Baptist Church. He was employed by the N.Y.C. Housing Authority as a truck driver for 40 years. He retired in 1997. Survivors include, his wife, Mrs. Mary Ella Yeadon of the home; two sons, Phillip Yeadon of Bronx, N.Y., and Elick Yeadon, Jr., of Harrisburg, Pa.; three grandsons; one sister, Mrs. Sadie Y. Butler of Cross, S.C.; two brothers, Mr. Robert Yeadon of Charleston, S.C., Deacon McKinley Yeadon of Eutawville, S.C.; five sisters-in-law; one daughter-in-law, and six brothers-in-law; one aunt.
