Shakespeare, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Shakespeare, 1924 Wood street, and Philip S. Bryan, took place last evening in St. Paul's Episcopal Church, with the pastor, the Rev. Floyd Appleton, officiating. The bride who was given in marriage by her father, wore a lovely gown of white and a white lace hat. Her bouquet was of pink and white snapdragons and bride's roses. The bride was attended by Miss Gwendolyn Shakespeare, who wore a gown of white voile and a large blue chiffon hat. She carried an arm bouquet of pink and white snapdragons. Elmer R. Barkey was best man. The ceremony was witnessed by the immediate families and a few friends. Mr. Bryan left this morning for Paris Island, S. C., with the Marine Corps.
