ACTIVITIES IN THE REALM OF SOCIETY AND PERSONAL NOTES OF INTEREST

  Miss Margaret Horner, a former Harrisburg girl, was married to Fred 
C. Connolly, of Philadelphia, August 15, it was announced here 
yesterday.  The ceremony was performed by the Rev. J. M. Corbe, of the 
Lutheran Church, Thirteenth street and Lehigh avenue.  The bride is a 
stenographer in the Quartermaster Corps of the Army Expeditionary 
Depot.  Mr. Connolly is a field clerk in Quartermaster Corps.  He 
served through the Spanish-American War, the Chinese expedition and the 
Philippine insurrection, and has recently returned from Manila.  He 
sailed recently for service in France.
