PAUL E. DOUTRICH [photos] Quantities of lovely roses, old-fashioned "Dorothy Perkins" and crimson ramblers, arranged over a trellis of green, gave every suggestion of June to the pretty wedding which was an event of last evening at "East Lawn," the residence of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Mumma, at Highspire, when their daughter, Miss Anna R. Mumma, and Paul E. Doutrich, son of Mr. and Mrs. I. H. Doutrich, of Middletown, were married in the presence of the immediate families and relatives of the bride and bridegroom. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. George N. Lauffer, pastor of the Lutheran Church; Steelton, Miss Alma Hocker, a cousin of Miss Mumma, played the wedding march from "Lohengrin" as the bridal party entered, and during the ceremony gave "Oh Promise Me." The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, looked charming in a gown of soft white satin and silver lace. The long draped lines of the satin skirt were most effective in contrast to the bodice, which was entirely of silver beaded lace over satin, the three-quarter length sleeves being of satin. A tulle headdress arranged in Russian fashion was finished across the front with a band of silver and caught high in the back with orange blossoms, from which the tulle veil hung in folds to the end of the gown. She carried a shower bouquet of orchids and trench flowers. Preceding the bride were two dainty little ribbon bearers, with frocks of white organdie, Miss Mary Elizabeth Doutrich, a sister of the bridegroom, and Miss Jean Gledhill. Immediately following the ceremony a reception was given with Mr. and Mrs. Mumma and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Doutrich receiving. The dining room, where a buffet supper was served to the guests, was most artistic with table appointments in pink, and pink roses forming a centerpiece. All the decorations were arranged by Leland J. Wells, of the firm of Doutrich & Co. After an extended trip to Buffalo, Montreal and Lake Champlain, Mr. and Mrs. Doutrich will be at home at "East Lawn," Highspire. Mr. Doutrich is a junior member of the firm of Doutrich & Co.
