H. Landis, 1426 State street, and Lieutenant Earl Gerberich Loser, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Loser, of Penbrook, were married with the Rev. Dr. Winfield S. Herman, pastor of the church, officiating. Owing to Government orders which affected the leave of absence given to Lieutenant Loser, the wedding took place at an earlier date than was previously planned. The bride, who was unattended, looked charming in a gown of white crepe de chine and georgette, with a large picture hat of white straw. Her corsage bouquet was of sweet peas and orchids. Following the ceremony a reception was given at the residence of the bride's parents with the relatives and a few intimate friends of the bride and bridegroom in attendance. Among the out-of-town guests were Dr. and Mrs. McCaskey, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Shaar and Miss Mary Resh, all of Lancaster. Mrs. Loser is a graduate of the Central High School, class of 1913, and the Teachers' Training School. Prior to her marriage she was a teacher in the Paxtang School Building, Cameron street. Lieutenant Loser is a graduate of the Annville High School, Preparatory School and Muhlenburg College. He is at present stationed at Camp Upton, where the young couple will reside for the present.
