WEDDINGS OVER WEEK-END

  Vergie Hevel, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John D. Hevel, of Lawrence 
street, town, was united in marriage with Private Alvan Neavling, of 
Highspire, on Saturday night at 9 o'clock.  The ceremony was performed 
at the Methodist Episcopal church parsonage by the pastor, the Rev. 
James Cunningham.
