Eaton announce the marriage of their daughter, Miss Clara Louise, to Edwin Walter Payne, son of Mr. and Mrs. Aaron S. Payne, 1709 Market street, Sunday, March 3, of this year. The ceremony was performed at the home of the bride's parents by the Rev. W. H. Dallman, formerly pastor of the Market Street Baptist Church, in the presence of the immediate families. The announcement was made at a reception given Saturday evening at the country home of Mr. and Mrs. Eaton. Mrs. Payne was graduated from Central High School, 1911, and the Teachers' Training School, 1913. For the last four years she has been teaching in the Vernon School Building. The bridegroom is a graduate of Technical High School, 1911. He joined the United States Navy last December and was recently assigned to the United States ship Plattsburg.
