Samuel Stouffer and Ruth Stoner Married LIEUTENANT AND MRS. SAMUEL MALOY STOUFFER [photos] Mr. and Mrs. Elmer E. Stoner, of Highspire, announce the marriage of their daughter, Miss Ruth Beatrice Stoner, to Lieutenant Samuel Maloy Stouffer, of Carlisle. Owing to unexpected government orders detailing Lieutenant Stouffer to report at once at Vancouver Barracks, Washington, D. C., the wedding was an informal event of Saturday, at high noon, with the Rev. S. M. Stouffer, father of the bridegroom, officiating. Only the immediate families of the young couple were in attendance. Mrs. Stouffer has many friends in this city, where she has been employed for the past four years by the Pennsylvania State Industrial Board. Lieutenant Stouffer, who is a graduate of Susquehanna University, is well known in this city, having taught in the Steelton High School several years, and prior to his enlistment in the Aviation Corps of the National Army, was principal of the Highspire High School for about two years. Lieutenant Stouffer left immediately after the wedding dinner for Washington, D. C., where Mrs. Stouffer will probably join him in the near future.
