ACTIVITIES IN THE REALM OF SOCIETY AND PERSONAL NOTES OF INTEREST

  Miss Martha Jeanette Griffith, Fifth and Camp streets, and Private 
Norman James Stricker, 340 South Fourteenth street, were married at the 
parsonage of the Derry Street Church of the United Brethren in Christ, 
by the Rev. J. A. Lyter, on Monday morning at 11 o'clock.  The bride 
was becomingly attired in a gown of straw colored crepe de chine and 
was unattended.  The groom is attached to the Casual Detachment of the 
Gas Defense Service at the Edgewood Arsenal, Edgewood, Maryland.
