I, Daniel Lerch sen of West Hanover in the County of Dauphin and State of Pennsylvania being of sound mind, memory, and understanding, do herby make and publish this my last will and testament, hereby revoking and making all void all former wills by me at any time heretofore made. Item. I give and bequeath to my beloved Wife, Catharine Lerch, house and lot I have purchased on Manada Hill during my widowhood and such furniture as she may think proper to select, with one cow and two hogs , if there and all the hay and fodder, on said premises at the time of my death. Item. And in case my wife should marry again, or die, my hereinafter named Executors shall sell by public venue the aforementioned house and lot on Manada Hill. And give a deed for the purchase and divide the money amongst all my children or their heirs share and share alike excepting Rebecca Lerch, which I have with my second wife, she having her share previous to this date. Item. My plantation or Farm, lying in said Township of West Hanover, adjoining lands of Benj. Kramer, the heirs of John R. Stoner, dec'd and others shall be sold by my Executors hereinafter mentioned to the best advantage that can either private or public venue and give deed for same, as soon as convenient after my death, and one third of the purchase money shall remain in said farm for the benefit of my wife and the interest to be paid to her annually during her life, and after all my expenses and just debts are paid, my executors shall divide all proceeds arising from my estate share and share alike amongst all my children or their heirs, excepting the above mentioned Rebecca, in case I should die before my daughter Harriet she marries she shall be furnished with the same as the other of my daughters and be paid by my executors, And lastly I do hereby constitute and appoint my son Thomas Lerch and my son-in-law Henry Lingle sole executors of this my last will and testament.
