  IN THE NAME OF GOD AMEN: I, Daniel H. Rhoads, of Harrisburg, County 
of Dauphin, State of Pennsylvania, Bricklayer, being of sound mind, 
memory and understanding, do make and declare this to be my last will 
and testament, hereby revoking and making void all former and other 
wills by me at any time heretofore made.
  I give and bequeath unto my wife, Mary Agnes Rhoads, absolutely, all 
articles of personal, domestic, or household use, or ornamental, 
including any furniture, books, pictures, provisions, consumable 
stores, and all household effects which at the time of my death shall 
be in, about, or belonging to the house in which I may reside at my 
decease.
  All the rest, residue and remainder of my estate, real, personal and 
mixed, whatsoever and wheresoever, I order and direct my executor, 
hereinafter named, to convert into money as soon as the same can 
conveniently be done after my decease: and for that purpose I do 
herewith empower and authorize my said executor, to sell and dispose of 
all my said real estate, either by public or private sale or sales, for 
the best price or prices that can be gotten for the same, and by proper 
deeds, conveyances or assurances in law, to be duly executed, 
acknowledged and perfected, to grant, convey and assure, the same to 
the purchaser or purchases thereof in fee simple. And when the whole of 
my said residuary estate shall be converted into money as aforesaid, 
then I will and direct that, after payment of my funeral and 
testamentary expenses and my just debts, the said proceeds shall be 
disposed of as follows: The sum of two thousand ($ 2000.00) Dollars of 
the net proceeds of the said rest and residue of my estate I give and 
bequeath to my said wife, absolutely, and the balance of the proceeds 
of my said residuary estate I give and bequeath to my three (3) 
children, Mary F. Barner, Jennie R. Hess and William S. Rhoads, to be 
equally divided share and share alike, between my said three children.

  I appoint the DAUPHIN DEPOSIT TRUST COMPANY the executor of this my 
will and testament.

  In witness whereof, I, DANIEL H. RHOADS, the said testator, have to 
this my last will and testament, contained in this and the one (1) 
preceeding sheet of paper, set my hand and seal, to wit: my hand to the 
bottom of the preceeding sheet, and my hand and seal to this last 
sheet.

  The writing contained in this and preceeding sheet of paper was 
signed, sealed and declared by the said testator, Daniel H. Rhoads, as 
and for his last will and testament, in the presence of us, who in his 
presence and at his request and in the presence of each other have

  On the 14th day of May A.D. 1924 personally appeared before me MARTIN 
L. NISSLEY, Register of Wills &c, in and for said county Robert 
McCormick and Morris Emerick subscribing witnesses to the foregoing 
instrument of writing purporting to be the last Will and Testament of 
Daniel H. Rhoads deceased, dated the    day of    A. D.  19  , Who 
after having been by me duly qualified according to law, depose and say 
that they were present and saw testator sign his name and seal and 
heard him publish and declare the same as and for his last Will and 
Testament, and that at the time of so doing he was of sound and 
disposing mind, memory, and understanding to the best of their 
knowledge and belief.

Sworn and subscribed before me, the
