All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/dauphin/ _________________________________________ Source: Dauphin County Will Book 1d, Page 327 Written: February 5, 1823 Recorded: December 15, 1823 Codicil to Will of Elizabeth Schreiner I Elizabeth Schreiner do hereby make and publish this codicil, to be added, to my last will and testament in manner following, to wit, I do declare that my will is that my house & lot in the town of Gratz, in Dauphin County, shall be sold within one year after my decease at public sale in said town to the highest and best bidder and that my executors named in my said will shall pay the proceeds thereof in manner following to wit, one half thereof to my son Henry, who is one of my executors, in consideration of his attention and service in superintending the execution of said house, one eighth thereof in equal proportion to the children of my deceased son John, one eighth to my daughter Elizabeth, one eighth to my son Daniel and one eighth to my daughter Rebecca, and in case eighter of my children's death should happen before mine then I do hereby declare it is my will that their share as above mentioned shall be paid to his or her lawful heirs. And lastly it is my will and desire that this my present codicil be annexed to and made a part of my last will and testament aforesaid.
