Chester Pike Newtown Square, Pennsylvania 19073 - 3223 ---------------------------------- Contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by Sandra Ferguson . from Futhey and Cope's THE HISTORY OF CHESTER COUNTY PA 1717, Thomas Thomas of Newtown conveyed 1/2 acre of land as a burial ground for the 7th Day Baptists. It is now owned (1881) by the Newtown Baptist Church who bought it. The mother of Gen Anthony Wayne mentions it in her will that 4 of her children had been buried there and directs tombstones to be placed on their graves.
