The following is the day's work in detail: In the Common Pleas Court: Foley vs. Thoms-Return of rule to accept real estate. Filed proof of service adjudged sufficient. Order of sale granted. Hannum vs. Tyson-Rule for allowance of counsel fees to garnishee's counsel. Argued fee of $10 allowed. George Baker vs. Samuel J. Ro?e & Son-Rule to take money out of Cou??. Continued. Borough of South Chester vs. Le?w B. Harvey and Anna J. Brown-Motion for rehearing argued. Motion refused. J. Lewis Hill and wife vs. Arthur Burns-Motion for new trial argued and held under advisement. The City of Chester vs. Josiah C. Ross-Argued on case stated. Held under advisement. Jacob Jones and wife vs. the Fernwood Masoic Hall Association-Motion for new trial argued. Motion refused. John B. Hinkson and Henry M. Hinkson vs. James F. Conlin-Rule to strike off appeal argued. Rule absolute. Thomas Simpson vs. John M. Broomall, Esq.-Assigned case stated. Argued and held under advisement. Margaret Palmer vs. William B. Bullock-Rule to strike off Mechanics' Lien. Argued and held under advisement. George Velotte et al. vs. Albert P. Lewis-Ejectment motion for a new trial. Among the miscellaneous common pleas were the cases of: Bowden vs. Bowden. Subpoena in divorce, order to issue. City of Chester vs. Andrew H. Wheaton. Report of referee filed. Judgment for plaintiff for $1080.70 entered, and referee's bill of costs allowed. First Particular Baptist church of Ridley. Return of order of sale filed and confirmed. Assigned estate of Chester Tube and Iron Company. Auditor's report filed and confirmed. Auditor's report in the matter of the account of Wm. B. Broomall, Esq., trustee of the estate of George Baker, filed. Beaumont vs. Parker. Rule to appeal without payment of costs filed. The Quarter Session Argument Court Proceedings were then taken up, and disposed of as follows: In the matter of exceptions to road in Radnor Township, exceptions dismissed. Com. vs. Brown, defendant, and Ladomus surety. Rule to remit recognizance argued. Rule absolute on payment of Record costs. In the matter of exceptions to review of a road in the township of Radnor argued, and recommitted to jury to pass upon the question of damages to Villa Nova College, et al. Com. vs. Kilcourse.
