The Grand Inquest Presents and returns ye 5th of ye 1st month 1688/89

We of ye grand Inquest for ye County of Chester have laid out ye Road from
Thournbury to Middletowne Beginning att a Spanish Oake upon Thomas Bradfords
land near Thomas Evinsons along ye lyne of marked trees through Edward
Beasars Land thence along ye lyne of marked trees through John Simcocks Land
to a marked blacke Walenutt standing by Chester Creeke thence Crossing ye
Creeke along Edward Blackes land along ye lyne of marked trees through Joshua
Hastings land along Crossing ye head of Caleb Puseies land thence through
David Ogdens land to Middletowns road ending att a marked white Oake Standing
by ye Road Side.

Wee likewise Present John Servant of James Stamfield in Marple in this County
of Chester for takingaway from ye House of William Buckenham of upper
Provicence Several wearing Cloathes ffeloniously Contrary to ye law in that
Case made and Provided

Wee likewise present William Buckingham for receiving ye said goods otherwise
then ye law alloweth of

Wee likewise present Anne Weaver of Astone in this County of Chester for
being with Child and having noe Husband
