KEMP - Media Resident MEDIA - SAMUEL T. KEMP, of Cherry st., died Wednesday at Veterans Hospital, Philadelphia, after an extended illness. He was 48. Born in West Chester, he lived in this area most of his life. A carpenter by trade, he served in the Navy during World War II and the Korean War. Surviving are his wife, MARY; a daughter, DOROTHY of Massachusetts; a son, RICHARD of Brown Mills, N. J.; a sister, Mrs. ADA PEGLER of West Chester; three brothers, WILLIAM and A. LEROY HANNUM of Media, and BEAUMONT C. HAMPTON of Madison, Va.; and a GRANDCHILD. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Hewitt Funeral Home, Girard av. and 3rd st. Philadelphia. Viewing will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday. Burial, with military honors, will be in National Cemetery, Beverly, N. J.
