He leaves a widow and two sons, Samuel and Theodore, both residing in Media. For years, Kemp was an employee of the West Chester Wheel Works, but for some time had been employed in a Chester establishment. He has many friends in this place, where he had been well-known for years. He was a member of West Chester Council, No. 633, Order of Independent Americans. Daily Local News, October 31, 1927 Funeral services for the late Thomas Kemp, who died a few days ago in West Chester, were held on Saturday afternoon from the Smith Chapel, East Gay Street, this place, and largely attended by relatives and friends. The service was in charge of Rev. E.N. Huff and interment was at Greenmount Cemetery. The pall bearers were member (sic) of the Independent Order of Americans of this place.
