LAWTON, wife of JABEZ LAWTON, aged 65 years. The friends and relatives of the family are invited to attend the funeral, to leave the house of the husband, in Thornbury, on Thursday, December 1st, at 11 o'clock, a.m., and proceed to the Union Burying Ground at Hinkson Corner. Jabez Lawton, in Thornbury township, on Thurs- day, December 1st, 1870. Funeral to leave the house at 11 o'clock, a.m., and proceed to the Union Burying Ground, at Hink- son's Corner. ********** Media 10 December 1870 Delaware County American Miss SARAH LAWTON of Thornbury, Delaware County fell down a flight of stairs some time ago while on a visit at her brother-in-law's home, JOHN H. BAILY in Media. Immediately after the fall, she was taken with a cramp, and after ten days illness, she died. Dr. HOSKINS attended to her sufferings. ********** Media 21 December 1870 Delaware County American INCORRECT. - The item which we published two weeks ago, with reference to the death of Mrs. LAWTON of Thornbury, copied from the RECORD, was incorrect in several particulars. She fell down a flight of stairs while on a visit to her son-in-law in Media, JOHN H. BAILY. Although badly bruised, no alarming symptoms manifested themselves until a week afterwards, when she was taken with cramps and vomiting, and died in about three days. Dr. HOSKINS was in attendance. The other account stated that it was Miss LAWTON, and that she fell while at the residence of her brother-in-law.
