          PIERCE--in Media, on the 25th inst., ELIZABETH ., widow of the
      late HENRY PIERCE.
          Funeral from her late residence on Monroe street, on Thursday
      afternoon, at 2 P.M. Interment at Union M.E. Church. Relatives
      and friends invited.

          The decease of Mrs. ELIZABETH L. PIERCE, who was buried
      at Union M.E. Cemetery last Thursday, removes another well
      known, former resident of Nether Providence and also makes a
      gap in the membership of Union Church.
