Obituaries
BERVANIA SHAW, 65, widiow of the late Ellenzie Shaw, 750 
Ashland Ave., Eddystone, died at her home Tuesday after 
a lengthy illness.
  Mrs. Shaw was born in Egg Harbor, N.J., and lived in 
Chester for 25 years and in Eddystone for 18 years.
  She is survived by two sones, Ellenzie, of Lenni, and 
LeRoy, of Springfield; seven daughters, Mrs. Bervania 
Winner of Boothwyn, Mrs. Evelyn McCormick of Ridley Park, 
Mrs. Emily Vernon of Bridgewater Estates, Mrs. Margaret 
Engelke of Chester, Mrs. Betty Sides of Woodlyn and Mrs. 
Jean Haas and Mrs. Eileen Porter, both of Eddystone; 23 
grandchildren and two great-grandchilden.
  Services will be Friday at 2 p.m. at the Melvin I. 
Minshall funeral home, 11th and Kerlin Sts., Chester.  
The Rev. Paul Harris of Eddystone Methodist Church will 
officiate.  Burial will be in Lawn Croft Cemetery.  
Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday evening.

SHAW - On Aug. 9th, 1960, Bervania Jacobson, wife of the 
late Ellenzie Shaw of 759 Ashland Ave., Eddystone, Pa., 
age 65 years.
  Relatives and friends are invited to attend teh funeral 
services on Friday afternoon at 2 at the Melvin I. Minshall 
Funeral Home, 11th & Kerlin Sts., Chester.  Friends may 
call Thursday evening.  Interment Lawn Croft Cemetery.
