Funeral to-morrow afternoon. He makes the second member the Franklin has lost by death this year. ------------------------------------ Chester Times (16 Jan 1882) Page 3 FUNERALS.-The funeral of the late Ambrose Slaughter took place yesterday afternoon from his late residence on Mary street near Penn and was largely attended. The Franklin Fire Company, of which he was a member, and also the Hanley Hose and Moyamensing Hook and Ladder Companies were in attendance. The services were conducted by the Rev. Noble Frame.
