                        Buried at Thornbury

            ARDELL SMITH, who died Thursday was buried at
        Thornbury on Sunday. He was a well-known colored man
        and came to this section of the country a few years ago
        and connected himself with J. C. Ross Lodge, K. of P.,
        and Calvary Baptist Church. He leaves to mourn his 
        loss a father and mother, two brothers and sisters.
