SMITH Father of Clayton T. Smith 1 - 11 - 1927 WILSON K. SMITH, long a resident of Media, died at his home 418 East Lincoln street, Media, at 12:15 o' clock Saturday afternoon after an illness extending over a period of several months. Mr. SMITH, was the father of CLAYTON T. SMITH, who lost his life while fighting in France and for whom the American Legion Post 93 at Media is named. The deceased survived his wife, SALLIE HANCE SMITH but several months, she passing away last spring. Mr. SMITH was born in Chester county seventy-four years ago and lived for a number of years at Glen Mills on the farm of which the large Glen Mills quarry is a part, moving to Media at the time of his marriage. His home prior to moving to the Lincoln street address was on State street, where the MAKIVER block is now located. His only survivors are Mrs. MARY DRAKE, of Eddystone, and Mrs. EMILY DRAKE, of Chester. Mr. SMITH was a member of the Garfield Lodge, Knights of Pythias of Media, the Media fire company and the South Media fire company. The funeral will be held at 2 o'clock Tuesday from his late residence, with interment at MIDDLETOWN PRESBYTERIAN CEMETERY. Services will be conducted at the home by Rev. BENJAMIN PIKE HOPE, of the First Baptist Church, Media.
