Viewing Thursday evening. 22 November 1930 Saturday Chester Times MANY MOURNERS AT TALLEY FUNERAL The funeral of Mrs. GERTRUDE LONG TALLEY, aged 29 years, wife of LAURENCE EUGENE TALLEY, JR., who died Thursday (TUESDAY), was held yesterday afternoon from the residence of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. ALBERT RICHINGS LONG, 439 West Baltimore avenue, Media. Rev. Howard W. Fulweller, rector of Christ Protestant Episcopal Church, officiated. He was assisted by Rev. Abram Ottey. Interment was at Arlington cemetery. The pallbearers were: ANDREW JOHNSON, JOHN SCHMERHER, CHARLES TALLEY, WALTER TALLEY, PHILILP COWEN and JOSEPH SMITH. Mrs. TALLEY had been ill for fourteen months. For several months she was under treatment at the JEANS Hospital. The deceased was the only child of Mr. and Mrs. LONG. She was born and had always lived in Media. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Media. Mrs. TALLEY was of a retiring disposition. Two small sons survive, LAURENCE 3rd and ALBERT RICHINGS. A number viewed the body Thursday evening.
