                            TIPPING

            GEORGE W. TIPPING, 76, a retired owner of a
        paperhanging business for 58 years, died Tuesday
        in Riddle Hospital, Middletown.
            He lived at 400 N. Orange St., Media.
            Mr. TIPPING was born in Media and lived there all
        his life. He was a member of George W. Bartram 
        Lodge 298 F. & A. M. and a 50-year member of the
        Artisans Order of Mutual Protection, Media; the
        Independent Order of Odd Fellows of Media; the
        Media Republican Club; the Media Fire, Co., and
        was husband of the late RUTH LEAVER TIPPING.
            Surviving are five sons, JOHN and ROBERT, both
        of Media; ALFRED, of Arlington, Va.; WALTER, of
        Clifton Heights and DONALD, of Middletown; seven
        grandchildren and one great-grandchild, and one
        sister.
            Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the William
        C. Rigby Funeral Home, 15 E. 4th St., Media.
        Burial will be in Cumberland Cemetery, Middletown.
            Calling hours will be Friday evening at the funeral
        home. Masonic services will be 8 p.m. Friday at
        the funeral home.

         Grandson of George Tipping and Josephine Young
         Great-grandson of Nathan Young and Catharine Downs of Haverford
