          January 5, 1940
 
         CLARENCE H. VAN LEER, a grocery operator in Rockdale 
         and Media for many years was found died in SNOWDEN'S
         Department store in Media where he worked as a watchman.
         He was 64 and is survived by his wife and 5 children.
